Travel Tips

When we went to visit Joe and Libby for their wedding, like we do with everything, we extended and made a mini vacay out of it too because why not

We FIRST flew into Phoenix because it was cheaper than Tucson and after a bit of a debacle in July with connecting flights, we wanted a DIRECT FLIGHT. THEN we stayed at a hotel that had FREE airport shuttle and actually rented a car from a place that was across the street.

We stayed at the Red Lion Inn on N. Scottsdale Road and rented from Avis right there. PLUS for a like $20 extra we were able to drop it off AT the airport. It was soooooooooo much cheaper renting off site and we picked it up a Sunday morning instead of Saturday night. ALSO cheaper.

Also as much as you check weather it changes and I was actually way colder than I thought I would be. I actually went out and bought a pair of pants because I packed way to may shorts!

We tend to like flexibility, so we book most hotels via tripadvisor the day we need them and we typically try and book the cheapest one so it works for us.
